PEM Friends has both a public and a private presence on Facebook.
Our public Facebook page allows people to search and find information about PEM Friends and PEM diseases on Facebook in addition to posts from other Rare Disease charities.
Our private Facebook group has over 675 members who are based in the UK, and are either PEM patients or those who care for them. The group is a vibrant forum where people can ask for advice, keep up with latest developments and find understanding and empathy for their condition from those who live with PEM.
